The Rwanda TVET Agri Project supports Rwandaβs vision to become a high-income economy by 2050 by strengthening agricultural vocational training (TVET). Key focus areas include:

Empowering women & youth (77% of Rwandan farmers are women).

Enhancing climate-resilient farming practices.

Improving job opportunities in sustainable agriculture.
The project works with Rwanda TVET Board (RTB) to establish Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) in agriculture.
As a Field Technical Assistant, you will:
Oversee day-to-day project activities at Nyagahanga TSS.
Coordinate with school staff, government, and private sector partners.
Organize training sessions, site visits, and community events.
Support school staff in project management and administration.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing between TVET schools.
Assist in study tours and peer-learning programs.
Track project progress and update M&E frameworks.
Prepare reports and success stories for stakeholders.
Maintain relationships with local leaders, farmers, and businesses.
Ensure smooth communication between Kigali-based teams and field operations.
Masterβs degree in Project Management, Agriculture, Business, or related fields.
5+ years in project coordination (preferably in Rwanda).
Background in TVET, agriculture, or rural development (a plus).
Experience with EU-funded projects (advantageous).
Strong project management & organizational skills.
Excellent communication in English & Kinyarwanda (French is a bonus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & data reporting.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders (schools, government, NGOs).
