Detailed Announcement: Invitation to Apply at Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) under Chancen’s Income Share Agreement Financing for June-July Intake 2025
The Catholic University of Rwanda (CUR) is excited to announce a unique partnership with Chancen International to offer Income Share Agreement (ISA) financing for eligible Rwandan students. This initiative aims to support students pursuing health-related programs by allowing them to study now and pay later after graduation, once they secure employment.
Programs Offered:
Bachelor’s Degrees: General Nursing, Midwifery
Advanced Diplomas: Midwifery, General Nursing
Upgrading Programs:
Bachelor’s in Public Health
Bachelor’s in Human Nutrition
Bachelor’s in Biomedical Laboratory Sciences
Financing Model (ISA):
Students receive full or partial tuition coverage during their studies.
Repayment begins only after graduation, contingent on the graduate earning a minimum income.
Repayment terms are a fixed percentage of income for a predetermined period, ensuring affordability.
Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Requirements:
Direct Entry (A0): Minimum grade C in Biology and Chemistry.
A1 Candidates: Minimum grade D in Biology and Chemistry.
Upgrading Candidates: Must hold an A1 certificate in a health-related program or an A2 certificate for specific upgrading programs.
Age Limit: Applicants must be below 35 years old.
Citizenship: Open to Rwandan nationals only.
Required Documents:
Notarized secondary school certificate.
Civil status certificate (e.g., birth certificate).
Credit Bureau Report (CRB) obtained by dialing *707#.
Photocopy of National ID (both sides).
Application Process:
Step 1: Fill out the online application form at https://cur.ac.rw/studentSupport.
Step 2: Compile all required documents into a single scanned PDF file.
Step 3: Submit the application via email to curchancenstudents@gmail.com by 16th July 2025, 5:00 PM.
Pre-selected candidates will be notified by 25th July 2025 for further steps.
Important Notes:
Incomplete applications or missing documents may result in disqualification.
The ISA model prioritizes financial accessibility while ensuring students’ future earnings are protected.
